As the year comes to a cold end... Monday 21st December 2009, 8:54 PM
As the year of 09 ends it's always a good idea to look at the year and the accomplishments you have acheived, and also what the new year ahead you plan to acheive
I've inspired Paul and Brad to join the gym with me, ok, they both wanted to go, but I guess I gave them a little push to start. Either way were all getting healthier and on the way to a bit more buff . I now have a mode of transport,My sexy bike. I plan to take my direct access next year and most likely invest in something a bit more powerful, I like the idea of the m25 to make some of my journeys a bit quicker in time.
Looking for a partner will take less priority next year since I realise I spend a lot of time dating and whatnot, besides I want to spend more time travelling. Pauls chuffed with his tomtom I got him and he's determined to travel further. I also want to go to Europe, different parts of the US, so no time to be stuck at home on holidays.
Move out! This year it's got to happen, either with Paul or without, I need my own space and it's gotta happen soon. Life is becoming tainted as a guy who should have moved out and still hasn't, although people havnt said it, I feel like that guy. I don't want to be that guy.
I need to earn more money also. I like my wages I guess, but I need more money, I'm greedy, besides working more adds variety, gives me more friends and best of all gives me less time to spend it!
DerekHyams.com will he changing direction; I want it to be a bay for coding and tutorials, downloads and most of all my portfolio. I've studied and need to further myself in this sector, I need to focus on design and become a stable, all rounder. Codings fine, but it's the design bug I fail to capture, which I know I suffer in. Maybe Photoshop tutorials?
Either way, in sure I'll cope, I just want to be in a very different place this time next year....
Have a lovely Christmas everyone, I hope your new years just as enjoyable x
Christmas over, swirving into the new year precauciously Wednesday 26th December 2007, 12:00 AM
So who had a fun christmas? Mine wasn't bad, seeing family but walking home at 2:30am on christmas day was a bit bollacks since me and my brother had an argument, him keeping me awake all night, snoring and since that was all he cared about, him gettig a good night sleep, I decided to leave my sisters house, and walk home, which was about a mile away.
the next day we kinda patched things up, but he is selfish in his nature, that's him.
Got Xmas I got quite a few nice gifts, a moonjar from Paul, drink dispensers from Ryan, funky bright clubwear from amy, a snazzy cappachino maker from mum, wii from dad (now sporting wii injury), money from relatives, a retro petrol style drinks pump from sister and baileys gift set and many more gifts. Many thanks for them all, and I'm just trying to find a decent place for them all!
I am now available for hire! The one thing I bought for Christmas for myself was some decks, yes I am now a fully pledged DJ and have had plenty of time to practice, I've been a PC DJ for a long time now but fully switching to decks is a great feeling but about 10x the intensity, its rather hard work, but then again you got alot more buttons to play with
I've got my first gig on the 28th of December for mr brads birthday, and are looking forward to it, look out for DJ Dellboy at a small gay venue near you!
I havnt a clue what I'm doing to new years eve, but if someone needs a pint-sized DJ, give us a shout!
Kisses, hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and wishing everyone a funky, eventful new year x

New years Eve Party? Saturday 8th December 2007, 2:51 PM
I as out last night I wasn’t sure whether to go out for new years, or hold a huge house party at mine. You see last night wasn’t he best new years for me last year, The pre drink before was great and me Paul and Ryan had a great time but we was stuck behind a building attempting to run and go somewhere decent by my knowledge of London maps was shattered when they blocked all the possible routes off, and I mean there was only one entrance from what I remember, and is was not possible to see London eye from that, In the end all we saw was the glow from the fireworks.
You see at mine, you can be with all your mates, there will be a great atmosphere indoors and out, we can watch London eye on my 42” plasma, and I have got all the equipment for a great night! I have got all my lights and they will be all over the house, as all the speakers, and well the idea it to transform the house into a major house party! What do you think?
If I held a party would you come? Is the question!
If people are that enthusiastic I will go out of my way and get bits like a cocktail fountain, maybe a chocolate fountain?! I can see it now, loads of people scattering round the house, some outside, music and light everywhere, will be a blast!
Please let us know your comments! I’ve also put the event on Facebook!
